Live Unlimited Blackjack Rules

The game follows the standard rules of eight-deck Blackjack. The aim is to build a hand of cards that is as close in value to 21 as possible but without exceeding 21 and going bust. If your hand is closer to 21 than the dealer’s is at the end of a round, then you win a payout.

When putting together a hand, the number cards (2 to 10 inclusive) are worth their face values, the face cards (Jack, Queen and King) are all worth 10, and Aces can be worth 1 or 11. This means that you can build 21 with just two cards, a ten card and an Ace. This is called Blackjack and it will beat all other hands including those worth 21 but comprised of more than two cards.

The game allows you to play up to five hand positions simultaneously and at the start of a round, you need to place your chips in the betting area for each hand that you wish to play. After betting is complete, the dealer deals two face-up cards to each hand position and the dealer will receive one face-up card and one facedown.

At this point, you will have the chance to choose one of the actions below:

• Hit – if you choose to hit, another card is dealt to the hand. There is no limit on how many cards you can receive, however, you must be cautious not to go bust.
• Stand – if you choose to stand, you leave the hand as it is. This moves play onto the next hand.
• Double – if you choose to double, you receive a single additional card and immediately stand. In doing so, you also double your bet.

Occasionally there are more options. If the first two cards have the same value, then they will be automatically split according to the optimal strategy. This means that it is possible to play them as two separate hands. However, if you do not want to you will have the option to fold and receive 80% of your bet back. If Aces are split, then each will receive just one more card.

If the dealer’s face-up card is an Ace, then you have the chance to take out insurance against the dealer having Blackjack. Insurance costs half of your original bet and if the dealer does have Blackjack, then you are paid double the insurance bet. This means that you will not lose any money.

When all players have finished, the dealer will play. The dealer must draw more cards until the hand is worth at least 16 and they will stand as soon as the hand is worth 17 or more.

All winning hands pay at 1:1, except for Blackjack, which pays out at a more generous 3:2. However, in the case of split Aces, a Blackjack hand will pay at the regular 1:1.

• A Coloured Pair is two cards that have the same colour and value but come from different suits and it pays out at 12:1

The 21+3 side bet is on the first two cards dealt to you and the dealer’s face-up card combining to form a poker hand. The payouts vary, depending on the combination of all three cards.

• A Straight Flush pays 40:1
• A Suited Three of a Kind pays 100:1
