What is Live Speed Roulette?

Live Speed Roulette brings you high-speed European Roulette action but without dispensing with the live croupier as other fast-paced versions of the game do. The game offers all of the features needed for the serious player, such as the Racetrack and shortcuts to place announce bets.

The Casino-like Atmosphere of Live Speed Roulette

In Live Speed Roulette, the action is streamed live from the casino floor. This presents players with a highly engaging and realistic experience. The true difference lies in the betting period; you will have just 8 seconds to place your bets before the croupier releases the ball into the wheel.

Live Speed Roulette Rules

The game is played according to the standard rules of European Roulette. It focuses on the spinning Roulette wheel that contains 37 numbered segments, from 0 to 36 inclusive. The croupier releases a ball into the wheel, and you can place bets on which of the segments the ball will stop on.

Thanks to the design of the wheel and the betting area, it is possible to bet on far more than just individual numbers. It is also possible to bet on groups of numbers and there are two types of groups. The first is numbers that are positioned together on the wheel or betting area and the second is numbers that share characteristics, such as all the even numbers.

As a result, there are many types of Roulette bets.

  • Straight Up: A bet on an individual number.
  • Split Bet: A bet on two adjacent numbers on the betting area.
  • Street Bet: A bet on three numbers in a vertical line (a street) on the betting area.
  • Corner/Four Bet: A bet on four numbers that form a square on the betting area.
  • Line Bet: A bet on six numbers, two streets that are adjacent in the betting area.
  • Column Bet: A bet on the twelve numbers that make up a horizontal line in the betting area.
  • Dozen Bet: A bet on the first, second or third group of 12 numbers (1-12, 13-24 and 25-36).
  • Red/Black Bet: A bet on either the red or the black numbers.
  • Even/Odd Bet: A bet on all the even or all the odd numbers.
  • Low/High Bet: A bet on whether the ball will land on a low or high number (1 – 18 or 19 – 36).

There are some other common bets, which are made up of a combination of the above. You will also find shortcuts to place these.

  • Voisins du Zero: A bet on the numbers neighbouring 0 on the wheel, it includes every number between 22 and 25. The Voisins du Zero bet costs nine chips that are divided into: two chips as a triplet bet on 0/2/3, one chip as a split bet on 4/7, one chip as a split bet on 12/15, one chip as a split bet on 18/21, one chip as a split bet on 19/22, two chips as a corner bet on 25/26/28/29, one chip as a split bet on 32/35.
  • Tier: A bet on the area of the wheel opposite 0, it covers about a third of the wheel, the numbers between 33 and 27. It costs six chips and covers 12 split bet numbers including: a split bet on 5/8, 10/11, 13/16, 23/24, 27/30, 33/36.
  • Orphelins: A bet on the numbers 17, 34, 6, 1, 20, 14, 31 and 9. It costs five chips that are divided on the following numbers: one chip as a straight bet on 1, one chip as a split bet on 6/9, one chip as a split bet on 14/17, one chip as a split bet on 17/20, one chip as a split bet on 31/34.
  • Final Bet: This is a bet on all the numbers that share the same last number. For example, a final bet on the number 4 would place chips on 4, 14, 24 and 34.
  • Complete Bet: This covers all the betting positions associated with a certain number. The bet consists of a Straight Bet, Split Bet, Corner Bet, Street Bet and Line Bet.
  • Half-Complete Bet: This covers the same betting positions as the Complete bet, but without the Street and Line Bets.
  • Neighbours: This is a bet on a number and the two numbers either side of it on the roulette wheel. The bet requires five chips, and they are all placed as straight bets. For instance, a neighbours bet on 9 would place a chip on 14, 31, 9, 22 and 18.

You have 8 seconds in which to place your chips on the betting area. Just before the time is up, the croupier releases the ball into the wheel and after it has come to a stop, you are paid for any winning bets.
