What is All Bets Blackjack?

Since it was released in 2019, All Bets Blackjack has become hugely popular with players. The game offers six side bets, each of which can lead to huge returns. All Bets Blackjack is played with six decks of cards and it allows players to play up to three hands simultaneously. Read on to learn all you need to know about this exciting variant.

How to Play All Bets Blackjack

In All Bets Blackjack, the aim of the game is to get as close to 21 as possible without going bust (exceeding 21). If the player has a higher valued hand than the dealer, they win the round. Before a round starts, the player must place an Ante bet and has the option to place up to six side bets.

Once the Ante bet (and possible side bets) have been placed; the round begins when you click on the ‘Deal’ button. The dealer deals two face-up cards to each active position. The dealer also takes two cards for themselves, one face-up and one face-down. Each of the number cards are worth their face value. The picture cards (Jack, Queen, King) are all worth 10. As for the Ace, it acts as either a 1 or an 11. To form Blackjack (the strongest possible hand), a hand must combine a 10-value card with an Ace.

If the dealer is showing an Ace, it is possible for the player to place an Insurance bet. This costs half of the player’s stake and pays out at 2:1 if the dealer has Blackjack. If the dealer does not have Blackjack, the round continues as usual.

The player will have the chance to take one of the four actions below:

  • Stand – the player is happy with their hand and does not want to add any more cards to it.
  • Hit – the player wants to take an additional card to their hand. There is no limit as to how many cards the player can add but they must not exceed 21.
  • Double Down – the player doubles their bet and takes a single additional card. Once this card is dealt, the player automatically stands.
  • Split – the player has received a pair of cards and decides to split them into two hands, doubling the bet in the process. The two hands are played separately.

The dealer also has a strict set of rules to follow. They must always hit on any 16 or lower and stand on any 17 or higher.

All Bets Blackjack Payouts

In All Bets Blackjack, the payouts are exactly the same as those that are used in standard variants of blackjack. The payouts are:

  • A standard win (having a higher hand than the dealer) pays 1:1
  • Blackjack pays 3:2

All Bets Blackjack Side Bets

The most exciting feature of All Bets Blackjack are the six side bets. They are as follows:

Buster

The most lucrative side bet in All Bets Blackjack is Buster. The player wins this side bet if the dealer goes bust. The payout depends on how many cards the dealer busts with:

  • If the player has Blackjack and the dealer busts with seven cards, the payout is 800:1
