To Win

This is the simplest bet to start with as a beginner. It is basically a prediction on the team to win the match. Unlike other sporting events, a draw is not possible in volleyball. Therefore, a bet of this nature will only be on the team to win the match.

Take for example a match between Halkbank and Ziraat Bankasi; simply pick which team you think will win and if they do, then you will win your bet.

Score Betting

This is a type of wager where you have to predict the exact score of the volleyball match. The bet wins if the match ends in the exact scores as you predicted.

For example in a match between Arkasspor and Fenerbahce, you can predict that Arkasspor will win by 3 sets to 2. If they win by that margin, the bet is also won.

By Sets

Betting by set allows you to bet on the number of sets a team will win. Volleyball is played to the best of five sets and a team has to win a set by two points to win it. There are no draws as indicated earlier. This type of bet is an over/under bet. The market provides a value and you bet on whether you think there will be more or less sets played. For example, in a game between Cizre Bld and Galatasaray, you could bet that there will be more than 3.5 sets played. As long as at least four sets are played, the bet will win.

You can also bet on which team will win an individual set. This is a result bet not on the entire match but just on a particular set. You might not be able to predict how the match will end but if you think you know how a set will go, this is your bet market.

So for the hypothetical Galatasaray match against Cizre Bld, you can predict that the fourth set will be won by Galatasaray and if they do, your bet is won.

Handicap Bets

Handicap bets give the favorite team a set disadvantage that they need to overcome for the bet to win, for example -1.5 sets. When the match is over, the scoreline is adjusted according to the handicap.

For example in a match between Spor Toto and Bursa, Bursa may then be given a -1.5 set handicap. Bursa would then have to win the match by at least two sets for the bet to win. It is also possible to give a team a positive handicap and make it easier for them to win.

Over/Under Bets

This is a bet on the total number of points a volleyball match will produce. It can be the total number of points for the whole game of just a particular set. A value is provided and the bet has to be whether the total points will be over or under that value.

For example, you can predict that the total number of points for all sets in a match between Ziraat Bankasi and Fenerbahce will be over 59.5. You bet over if you think there will be 60 or more points and under if you think there will be 59 or less.

Player and Game Props

Props betting does not require you to predict the outcomes of the match. It is the prediction of certain events happening in the match such as a substitution or a foul. For example, you could bet on Arkas Spor's wing spiker Joeo Paulo Bravo committing a palming foul or scoring a penalty in a game against Perugia

Live betting allows you to bet on a volleyball game as it is happening. You can find many of the markets explained above as well as bet on the next thing to happen, such as the next team to score.
