Free agents joining the Steelers for the 2022 season include Myles Jack as an inside linebacker, Gunner Olszewski as a wide receiver, Montravius Adams as a defensive tackle and Levi Wallace as a cornerback.

Outgoings from the 2021 roster include quarterback Joshua Dobbs, wide receivers Ray-Ray McCloud, James Washington and JuJu Smith-Schuster, as well as linebacker Marcus Allen.

General Manager Kevin Colbert retired last season and is replaced by Omar Khan and assistant general manager Andy Weidl.

A lot may depend on the fitness of T J Watt during the 2022 regular season for the Steelers. He made the most sacks in 2021 and was voted the Associated Press Defensive Player of the Year while also making the All-Pro Team.
