A Guide to EuroLeague Betting

The EuroLeague is Europe’s professional basketball club competition. It is considered to be the best basketball league in Europe and some would say that it is second only to the NBA.

A total of 18 teams compete in the EuroLeague. Over the course of a season, the teams all play each other both at home and away. Then, the top 8 teams qualify for a 5-game playoff series. After the five games have taken place, the winners of the series advance to the final four playoffs. The playoffs consist of two semi-finals, a third place game and the final, all of which take place over the weekend. This means that each team plays at least 34 games in a season and a maximum of 41.

A number of prominent teams take part in the EuroLeague, such as Real Madrid, CSKA Moscow, Panathinaikos, Olympiacos and Barcelona. It is one of the most popular indoor sports leagues in the world with thousands of people watching the games both in person and on television. This makes it second to the NBA in terms of attendance at games.

So far, the EuroLeague title has been won by 21 clubs, 13 of them have won it more than once. Real Madrid is the most successful club in the competition, having won ten titles.

Points Total

As the name suggests, this is a bet on the total number of points scored in a game. You are actually betting on whether it will be more or less than the number given. For instance, in a game between Monaco and Olympiacos, you could bet on there being more or less than 145.5 points. Normally there will be several options for you to choose from with this type of bet.

You will come across a number of other bets that work in the same way. For instance, you can bet on the number of points scored by one of the teams rather than the combined total of points.

Game Winning Margin

This allows you to bet on how many points you think a team might win by. For example, you could bet on Real Madrid to beat ALBA Berlin by 1-2 points, 3-6 points, 7-9 points, 10-13 points, and so on.

First Half/Full Time

This requires you to predict what situation will be at both halftime and full time. For example, in a game between Real Madrid and ALBA Berlin, you could bet that Madrid will be winning at halftime and Berlin will win, that Madrid will lead at halftime and win, that Berlin will be leading at halftime and that Madrid will win, and so on.
